What is Permanent?

I boast of my rich birth. I have been brought up with a silver spoon. I have a palace to live. I wander in luxury cars. I have hundreds of caretakers behind me. I buy branded products. I have a wealthy family. I travel in private jets. I can buy anything.
SO ???
Is all this permanent? Will all this stay with me forever? Will I take any of these things with me on my death bed?
For sure, the answer is NO.

This is the problem with many of us in today's world. We tend to consider ourselves better than anyone else. We are boastful of our natural gifts. We ought to think that we have all the power.

This problem is not only limited to those with a lot of money. This problem is also prevalent in those filled with attitude, those who consider themselves the boss of everyone. Even if they don't have anything, they just tend to show off like they have everything. These people are just like the bay-leaves in a biryani. They consider themselves as smart, but in reality, will always be hated and thrown away by others.

The question is, why do we act so? Why do we behave in such a manner? Why are we so proud of our every-thing or our no-thing?

The simple answer is competition and survival. We want to not just live but also survive in a society where there is a lot of pomp and show. It is hard to change the society. So, we change ourselves according to the situation. We ought to buy a ₹100 Red Bull even if a ₹15 Limca can break our thirst. We buy expensive things mostly to take pictures and post on the social media. We like the likes of others more than what we like. We post things to gain attention. Everybody wants to be a hero.

Then what could be a solution to this?

Being real and matured is the solution. It is not necessary to let the world know about each and every update of your life. People will forget about it after a few hours itself.

I am not against anything or anyone. I am just requesting everyone to act maturely and use social media to good effect. Use it to gain good stuff, share knowledge. Nobody will get anything by posting and liking a photo of your personal life.

Social media is like a snake. The more you run from it, the more it will jump on you. And if you stand still, it will twist itself around you.

This is the temporary and fake life of social media, which leads to the problem of boasting.

I sometimes wonder of those who boast and yell out things about themselves that why are they always bragging about themselves? Do they have anything different from me? They do not eat gold biscuits. They eat normal food just like me. They have the same body as I have. They have the same mind, live in the same society, talk similarly. But, why do they boast about themselves then?

Values matter and not the valuable stuff.

Try to enjoy life and not just merely live it. Be happy and contented with whatever you have achieved and not remain sad on what is lost. Be realistic. Act maturely and life will seem all the more beautiful than ever.

Everything is short-lived and temporary. Everything will die, break, expire or burn one day. The only thing that is permanent is nothing

Think about it!
Life will change!
